The end of the Summer That Never Arrived is here. Today marks the first official day of Fall and we managed just one day above 30°C this year. In keeping with the patterns over the summer, the statistics tell all:

Average high 16.6°C
But it could be oh so worse.... in 1926, the high was -6.7°C! So despite the snow on the cars this morning, the heavy grey clouds and threatening rain, the high is above zero and sunshine is forecast for the weekend.
