Woodpecker

No, it is not an impact drill, a pounding headache after a long night drinking, or the kid next door on his new drum kit. Our woodpecker is back and tapping on the chimney in an effort to woo his girl.

Good luck with that fella, but please can you start at a more humane hour!

Losing an hour

We lost an hour last night and researchers are now saying it causes a 10% increase in heart attack.

I am puzzled to know how this works. How does it differ from getting up an hour early to pick Aunty Jean up from the airport? Or getting up an hour early to ensure fresh tracks on a powder day. How possibly, can moving forward the clock induce illness?

Seriously folks, simply plan ahead and go to bed an hour earlier...

Couch Surfing

Tonight, while we were eating dinner, the door bell rang and there stood young Jesse on our doorstep with a dusting of snow on his dreadlocks, a grumbling tummy and an empty wallet. We are now officially hosting a couch surfer.

Does this make us hip?

Remember to breathe
