We battled the traffic and crowds and hiked up from Moraine Lake through Larch Valley to see the larches in their full Fall glory. Larches are a conifer, but deciduous and lose their needles in the autumn. They enjoy the higher altitudes so come into prominence way up - meaning lots of uphill hiking to get in amongst them!Well worth the effort!
