I am pleased to announce that Katherine (Kate) Collins has joined Fluor Canada's construction division as Sr. Commercial Manager.
Kate is a P.Eng, MBA with over 20 years of industry experience in construction, O&M and project management, with various management roles including most recently General Manager, Commercial with Flint Transfield Services (FTS).
Kate will be engaged in a leadership role focusing on the commercial growth of Fluor Canada's construction business, with the aim of pursuing and winning CM and C-only work in Canada across Fluor's multiple Business Units. Particular focus will be placed on commercial strategies and tactics to grow and sustain Fluor Canada's two direct-hire craft organizations Fluor Constructors Canada Ltd (building trades), and ConOps Industrial (non-building trades), as well as Fluor's emerging fabrication/modularization portfolio, with the objective of Fluor being equally recognized alongside other tier-1 construction companies who operate in the fab/mod/direct-hire industrial sectors. Kate will also be responsible for overseeing competency development of construction cost management.
