Time disappears

Time disappears.  Between game walks along the Kruger fence morning and evening and trips to the local store which degenerate into game drives, our days are full.

The Krans, overlooking the Crocodile River, allows viewing of the bed in the river.  It is a favourite hangout for hippos, buffalo, elephants and the largest crocodiles imaginable.  Every visit is one of anticipation of what will be there.  Never a disappointment.  From the ever reliable impala, vervet monkeys and warthogs to the teeming birdlife.  It is dazzling.

Our morning walk this morning was a hippofest!  At least 15 with one pond containing 8 wallowing creatures.  Buffalo lazing on the beach with warthogs and impala frolicking on the far shore.

Impala do frolic!  They kick up their heels and skip and bounce.
