I have become a big fan of mason jars and taken to preserves!
Rhubarb jam was the trend through the summer with our rhubarb plant producing vast quantities. Earlier in the Fall, we stripped the apple tree and it was a frenzy of apple sauce. Now in the late Fall, I am preparing for Christmas turkey with jars and jars of cranberry sauce.
I am hopeful, that by next Summer, I will start preserving something we will actually eat!
