We love Calgary! Following weeks of sub -20 degree temperatures, the warm wind (chinook) blew in, and temperatures rose by 30 degrees. Saturday was spent skiing beneath cloudless skies in above zero temperatures - and it is January - fantastic!!
A caution. Beware the fiance who has been skiing all week complete with a FULL DAY private lesson. His ski hardened legs and new found abilities meant my work weary and somewhat unfit body was dragged over cliffs, down chutes and through mogul fields and trees. It could not be said elegant at all!
